During the Murrumbateman Moving Feast weekend, two of the areas leading Artists in their field, Kristen O’Keeffe and Amanda McLean will exhibit beautiful Botanicals, Birds and sunning local landscape paintings in the Shaw Wines Shearing Shed Gallery.
Amanda is a nationally renowned Pastel Artist who has been painting with soft pastel for over 30 years and teaching for over 20. She has a passion for the Australian landscape and coastline in its varying forms and is recognised for her sensitive interpretations, especially her rendering of clouds, skies, and water. Kristen enjoys working in many mediums such as textiles, wood, and printmaking. Often combining them to create work. She considers herself an Artist and a crafts person, her practice spanning from writing Crochet patterns to Botanical Watercolours and much in between. www.kristenokeeffe.com
