Julie Gilmore Art Exhibition

During the Easter weekend, local artist Julie Gilmore will be showcasing her artwork in the Shaw Wines Shearing Shed Gallery. Open from 10am to 2pm Saturday 20 April and Monday 22 April and Sunday 21 April 10am to 4pm.

Julie was born the last year of "the baby boomers" in Rabaul Papua New Guinea (but made and raised in Australia). A love of the great outdoors took her from the tropics to the snowy highlands.

Ruth Dodd Art Exhibition

During the Hamper Harvest Trail weekend, local artist Ruth Dodd will be showcasing her artwork in the Shaw Wines Shearing Shed Gallery.

Saturday 27 April and Sunday 28 April 2019.

Ruth studied Interior Design at the National Art School East Sydney and practised as an interior designer before moving into the field of cartography.  She then moved to Canberra to continue her career in cartography, with a focus on the design of maps.

Amanda McLean & Kristen O’Keeffe Art Exhibition

During the Murrumbateman Moving Feast weekend, local artist Amanda McLean and Kirsten O'Keeffe will be showcasing her artwork in the Shaw Wines Shearing Shed Gallery.

Saturday 5 October, Sunday 6 October and Monday 7 October 2019.

Amanda is a nationally renowned Pastel Artist who has been painting with soft pastel for over 30 years and teaching for over 20. She has a passion for the Australian landscape and coastline in its varying forms and is recognised for her sensitive interpretations, especially her rendering of clouds, skies, and water. Her paintings are often hailed for their sensitivity and ‘sense of place’.
